Michael Wilkins has two decades of experience as a music director and conductor, and holds an undergraduate degree in Music Theory and Composition, and a Masters in Choral Conducting. from Azusa Pacific University. While he has experience in and a love for all genres of musical theatre, his specialty is music directing rock and pop musicals such as Rocky Horror, Rock of AgesOnce, and Beehive, and he has even been reviewed as a "show in itself" while playing onstage! After years of freelancing around the country, he is currently based in New York City and is available as music director, conductor and musical theatre pianist.

Michael spent five years as a professor with Pacific Conservatory for the Performing Arts while also serving as the Resident Music Director for the attached professional theatre company Pacific Conservatory Theatre. There he taught music theory, music/singing fundamentals, acting through song, and coached students privately. Throughout his career, he has also helped clients prepare for and film auditions as accompanist and/or coach, created rehearsal and performance piano tracks, and accompanied many auditions as an audition pianist for theatres, colleges and casting directors.
